Don't ever change

My amazing brother bear Anna picked up a copy of the "don't ever change/Jack the ripper" 7" on blue from derranged and a copy of the 2nd pressing of the demo 7" on Transparent Purple courtesy of thirty days of night records, while in Resist We managed to score "don't ever change/Jack the ripper" and the demo repress both on black. I can't wait to get my copies of "songs for the burning lovers" on 12"

Monopolized Reality For The Maintenenance Of Order

She didn't fall right into the train, like you'd picture it happening. I guess if you timed it perfectly it would be possible to get that certain..bug-in-a-windshield effect. But, no, it wasn't like that. She fell all the way and landed on the tracks with about two and a half seconds left on the clock; broken down like this..first a confused, "what the fuck just happened to me?" look..and then a horrific abbreviated moment of total comprehension as she looked up. Destiny caught her half-standing, in a doomed escape attempt that could not have possibly been enough. A scream cut short. A forced, unprepared auto eulogy, interrupted and spread liberally over three-hundred feet of subway line. Commotion, into which the man dissapeared. Shock and bewilderment. The general disgust that couldn't entirely veil the underlying fascination. Lots of shrieking, as if they were all finishing off for her. A half-compliant evacuation. Police. Firemen. Authority to officialized tragedy. Yellow tape. The Six-o-Clock news to tell the people what they never saw. Monopolized reality for the maintanence of order. Collected at the source and redistributed as is seen fit. Sterilized. Meanwhile, a strong stench. The men in the blue overalls trying not to retch. The ones that have to account for every fingernail before the rats do. The vulgarity of the scene. The permanence of the image. You never fully realize until moments like this, that people really are 70 percent water.

final frontier falls to decay, last of hope rotting away

"See every man is a serpent who serves a master the decision we have to make, the decision we have to make is which master do we serve?"

At the moment im still waiting for records to come through so I decided im going to talk about my favorite band and my favorite album of all time im talking about canadas "cursed" and the album we are talking about is their debut album aptly titled "I" or "one" now before I go on yes I am a big colofan so what hahahahah!! and 2. I am not the best writer or a critic as you might of gathered my grammar is shithouse so bear with me on that one. I can still remember the first time I heard this album I used to check out music a lot by seeing band names on dudes myspaces that I knew liked similar music and checking stuff out from there I remember checking them out along with "unbroken" and a few other bands from this persons list at the time I thought it was good but not amazing.

As time when on I really started to appreciate this album and this band and everything they did more and more and noticed so many things that I never noticed before I have always had a rule with music that is always listen to an album at least 3 times before you judge if you like it or not and I think that rule really does work I know there have been countless bands that I just didn't understand at the period of time in my life and have come back to later and absolutely loved!. Anway back to the album! where do I start? Well currently as we speak I am laying in bed in the dark with the fan on listening to the amazing album that I speak of and I am smiling my face off I don't know if that was the intention of chris colohan and co when the formed this band but this album and every other album/ep the band did I, II, III, blackout at sunrise and hell comes home/search and destroy have been flawless from start to fucking finish not a bad song on any of them from the samples to the riffs and drum fills everything fits perfectly so it certainly makes me smile makes me dream and it also makes me think clocking in at 11 songs like every cursed album 11 also being a very important number in my life!!

From the crushing sample at the start of "polygraph" to the pounding finish of "pariah this album is punishing going through every detail the fast paced thrashness of the first half of the album slowing in down for the slower masterpiece instrumental that is" how great things happen when you give up hope" and speeding things back up for the remander of the album. This album is best listened to on headphones to capture every detail not to miss a beat because it all flows together in such a perfect way an amazing album dark and heavy intelligent brutal and honest judge it for yourself to see why its my favorite album of all time I suck at this hahahah
